My advice for new and intending moms is to do the following:
* Eat well - you don't need to rub a bank to balance your diet - grains, nuts, carbohydrates and liquids work magic
* get a good breast pump
* drink lots of yam pepper soup (the Igbo recipe with lots of uda)

Pros - healthy baby, happy baby, happy mummy, hygienic feeding, immune system booster, reduced risk of chronic illness, optimal nutrition, cognitive development, easy digestion, convenience and cost saving, lower risk of breast cancer, and emotional bonding

Cons - Sore nipples, backaches, biting, leaks, milk stains, saggy breasts, time commitment, dietary restrictions (no alcohol and coffee intake and if you do, do not breastfeed until after 4 hours),
