Trump didn’t let a few killed US servicemen and an escalating war get in the way of his attendance at the World Cup.
He could be in the Situation Room right now but he cares more about the game.
CENTCOM: The remains of a missing US service member has been recovered and another service member was killed in action in Iraq during a controlled detonation.

Republicans have dismissed another lawsuit challenging the lawfulness of counting mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day but received afterwards.
This has been a major battle line in the fight for free and fair elections and one we are winning in state after state.
Nevadans already made their choice: more renewable energy, not more dependence on natural gas. As our state grows, especially with new energy demands from data centers and development, we cannot lose sight of what families need most: lower utility bills, cleaner air, and good-paying clean energy jobs. Nevada has the sun, the workforce, and the innovation to lead the clean energy economy. Our energy future should be built around the people who live here, not just the industries that want to plug in here. #NV04

This summer, we kept the lights on all night, every night, at five soccer fields across New York City. This was the scene at Calvert Vaux Park in Gravesend, Brooklyn Tuesday night.
"Before he can vote for himself in next month’s primary, Mike Lindell needs to register to vote in the state he wants to lead as governor.
The MN Secretary of State’s office said Lindell, Trump’s preferred candidate, 'does not have an active record,' spokeswoman Cassondra Knudson said when asked if Lindell is a registered voter.
A Star Tribune review of voter records shows Lindell has an active voter registration in Texas." https://t.co/TyPVPcGMJk
Jonathan Swan says that when President Trump returned to office, he pressured the intelligence community to produce some kind of evidence proving that the 2020 election was stolen, and that Trump’s Thursday night address was the best they could do.
Jonathan Swan: One way of looking at last night is as the culmination of an almost six-year effort. We have some reporting in the book that, in early 2021, Trump was telling people privately that he thought he could be reinstated as president that summer and was being encouraged by some people around him that this was a possibility.
When he came back into power this term, he started to put pretty intense pressure on the intelligence community to come up with some kind of evidence that could prove the 2020 election was stolen.
Last night, one way of looking at it is that this is the best they can do. Essentially, this was their best effort to prove that case. Of course, they didn’t. But that’s the genesis of last night.
🚨BREAKING: A federal court dismissed the DOJ's lawsuit demanding access to Connecticut's unredacted voter registration list.
The department has now lost its sweeping legal hunt for access to states' private voter data in 16 states.
ICE’s violent attempted arrest of an elderly man at Harry Reid International raises a lot of serious questions about how ICE agents are continuing to act with impunity. These actions instill fear in our communities – scaring away tourists and further hurting Nevada’s economy.
I'm demanding answers from David Cummins, President Trump's nominee to lead TSA, about the conduct of ICE agents at Harry Reid International Airport. As the federal agency overseeing security at our nation's airports, TSA has a responsibility to ensure airports are safe and secure. Let me be clear: if I don’t get adequate answers to my questions and a commitment to preventing such abuses in the future, I will not support the confirmation of Mr. Cummins.
Putin
Last night Donald Trump released a declassified document that says his own intelligence community identified Putin as personally running an operation to defeat my father in 2020, built around a fake Burisma corruption scandal centered around me and executed through prominent Americans.
Trump tasked his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to fly to Kyiv and meet a known Russian agent.
The Americans who ran, laundered, and legitimized the operation:
Donald Trump. Rudy Giuliani. John Solomon. Joe DiGenova. Victoria Toensing. Lev Parnas. Igor Fruman. Chanel Rion. Sean Hannity. Steve Bannon. Miranda Devine. Ken Vogel. Ron Johnson. Chuck Grassley. James Comer. Jim Jordan.
To name a few.
An operation formally sanctioned by Trump's own Treasury Department on September 10, 2020, and expanded to include more named actors on January 11, 2021.
Oh, and don't forget the Russian-linked FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who later pleaded guilty to making the entire Burisma bribery story up.
The record exists and we have all the receipts, and more.
A new study found that on Lombardo’s watch, rents in Las Vegas have risen nearly 20% faster than rents in Los Angeles.🏠
Working families keep getting squeezed while Lombardo claims everything is on the right track. Nevadans deserve better.
A group of veterans make sure that there is a beautiful flower filled memorial set up for Joan Sebastian Guerrero at the location of where he was murdered by an ICE officer in Biddeford,Maine as his 3 year old daughter watched. He was here in the Country legally with a SS number.
Question: Do you regret giving ICE more money, given the killings, including the one in your state?
Susan Collins:
Q: No regrets, Senator?
Collins: That money went to body cameras and training
Q: They didn't wear cameras, though, did they Senator?
Collins:
Nevada elections are renowned for their accuracy and accessibility, and fraud in our elections is virtually non-existent.
We are confident in @NVSOS Cisco Aguilar, who has done a brilliant job executing our elections.
Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has joined the viral “I'm Joe Lombardo” trend with a new campaign video filmed at The Beverly Theater in downtown Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 15th.
Ford, who is running for governor in 2026 against incumbent Governor Joe Lombardo, visited The Beverly Theater to take advantage of its one-night promotion offering a free movie ticket to anyone who said, “I'm Joe Lombardo.”
In the 46-second video posted today, Ford walks up to the box office asking for a ticket to the 7 p.m. showing of Batman movie before saying, “I'm Joe Lombardo,” and winking at the camera.
After accepting the ticket, Ford jokes, “Got my free ticket to go see Batman at the Beverly. First time Joe Lombardo's ever lowered prices for anybody.”
The video ends with moviegoers saying, “I'm Joe Lombardo,” before a theater employee responds, “I believe you, guys.”
Ford captioned the post, “Iykyk ☝️.”
What do you think of this trend?
