Dysfunctional top to bottom. Owner finally decides to spend for the 1st time in years when a cap is finally looming, GM is invisible, Manager is a puppet to the little league analytic lineups, and the slowest walking most annoying pitching coach I’ve ever seen in my life.

Scoring 6 runs in a Paul Skenes start & also losing 9 straight of them, when the offense is good for a change, sums it up what it’s like being a Pirates fan. We are the Cleveland Browns of baseball.

@AustinRBechtold The Redsox are on a 5 game winning streak, only 4.5 out of the wild card, & 1 of 4 teams with a positive run differential in the AL. I would love to have those 2 relievers as well, but I don’t see it happening soon & we need help NOW.

Things sinking the ship:

-GMBC, Don Kelly, Triolo, Davis, Jones, the rest of the rotation that can never get passed 5 innings, & the entire bullpen.

@DanZangrilli This team has too many warts. Skenes inefficiency is one of them. He throws 20+ pitches every inning. Add that to a sup par bullpen, and most of his starts have had Triolo & Davis in them.

The Pirates need to tread water these next 16 games before the ASB. I will take 8-8, even 7-9 vs Cin/Phi/Was/Atl/Mil. Get Griffin, Cruz, & Horwitz healthy & make a 2nd half run. #letsgobucs.
