Summer Toussaint (2028) — Team Herro / Johnsburg High School
5'10" PG/CG | Northern Illinois Regional Circuit
SIGNAL SNAPSHOT
Archetype: Perimeter Shooting Specialist
Primary Value: Verified elite single-game perimeter shot volume
Translation Signal: Nine made threes in one game — Johnsburg HS single-game record
Current Gap: Full-season efficiency data, defensive scalability, and expanded offensive creation sample
Toussaint operates as a perimeter shooting specialist whose profile is anchored by one unusually strong signal: nine made three-pointers in a single game during the 2025 Easter Classic, officially recorded as the Johnsburg High School single-game record. The importance is not merely the point total. High-volume perimeter shooting at that level implies repeatable mechanics, confidence under repetition, and the ability to sustain shot rhythm across an entire game environment. Those are scalable indicators when projecting shooting translation.
OFFENSIVE PROFILE
Toussaint generates offensive value primarily through perimeter spacing and shooting gravity. The current evidence base is narrow, but the magnitude of the documented performance creates legitimate evaluation interest. Making nine threes in a competitive setting generally requires more than stationary catch-and-shoot opportunities. It suggests some combination of relocation shooting, off-ball movement processing, transition spacing awareness, or self-created perimeter attempts.
The unknown variable is consistency. One elite shooting performance establishes possibility; sustained efficiency establishes projection stability. Until larger shooting samples are verified, the profile remains volatility-dependent rather than fully bankable.
At 5'10" with PG/CG designation, there is also functional upside tied to lineup flexibility. If Toussaint can operate as a secondary initiator while maintaining perimeter efficiency, the archetype expands from specialist into a more valuable multi-role spacing guard. That distinction materially changes recruiting value at the D1 level.
PROCESSING + FACILITATION
Assist production and decision-making metrics remain largely unconfirmed, but positional classification provides indirect signal. Guards capable of generating high-volume perimeter production typically process spacing windows quickly and recognize defensive leverage early. The evaluation hinge is whether her shooting profile is being created independently, through offensive structure, or both.
That processing layer remains the largest unanswered question in the projection.
DEFENSIVE TRANSLATION
Defensive impact is currently projection-based rather than evidence-based. Her 5'10" frame gives her functional size for perimeter defensive versatility, but no verified film or statistical indicators currently confirm point-of-attack disruption, lateral containment, or off-ball defensive activity.
@coachbeechum VERDICT
Toussaint currently projects as a low-D1 to mid-major perimeter spacer with upward mobility tied directly to sustained shooting efficiency and expanded offensive evidence. The nine-three performance is too significant to dismiss as noise, but the broader projection remains incomplete until season-wide data confirms repeatability against stronger defensive environments.

Toussaints brought heat to McHenry County hoops this winter. Johnsburg coach Mike Toussaint is the Northwest Herald Boys Basketball Coach of the Year after leading the Skyhawks to a sectional title. His nephew Trey shined at guard. Nieces Summer and Skye starred for the girls.
.@LadySkyhawksBB sophomore guard @SummerToussaint surpassed 1,000 career points and helped lead the Skyhawks to a program-record 34 wins and their first conference title since 2017.
