I’ll be honest. I applied to work for @proof_xyz. I didn’t get an interview.
Somewhat surprised if I’m being honest, but it is what it is. Still 100% all-in on proof/moonbirds team.
And also motivation to make sure they know they f’d up a year from now 😉.
Play now imo is setup recurring DCA into stocks/coins/projects you believe in and ignore it all for the next 12-18 months. Spend the saved time focusing on building (yourself; career; start-up; art; etc).
Even against rising inflation, with the state of the global economy and uncertainty in literally every market - I think the safest play near term is keeping the powder dry and holding cash.
If you weren’t just here for the quick money, and want to actually build something - your profile, a business, authority knowledge - in crypto/nfts/web3…. then a bear market is your alpha.
Someone needs to build the web3 MySpace.
Customizable social profile where everything is an nft.
PFP get their spot as normal, but can also showcase the “Top 8” from your collection. New NFT collections to set as page backgrounds. Want a song on your profile? Get the nft.
I built a little something. Basically, adding some short, vanity urls to common nft collection links:

Some examples:

It’s pretty unfortunate how much of the NFT community and ecosystem thrives on exclusivity and how that would seem to oppose true crypto/web3 ethos.
Also a pretty good map for core human behavior (and capitalism).
Very animal farm.
The problem I see is the majority of the space today doesn’t care to actually play a game, they just want to make (fast) money.
And the gamers who would want to play the game, don’t want to learn still-complex web3 on-ramps and then pay $10k+ to play it.
I’m probably wrong.
