@docgoble From 0:00 to 0:03 when the shooter is timing his throw, the required force of his throw is small, simply put all he did was release the stone and slightly extend his arm. As well the direction and speed of his throw was also planned by the motor cortex.
@docgoble At 0:02 when the ball is caught by Wilson, the cutaneous system allowed him to know that he has the ball in his possession and that it is ready to throw. Also feeling where the laces of the football are without having to look gave him the opportunity to throw the ball fast.
@NateOriel This video is great! I posted a similar video on my end showing differences in muscle activation during a shoulder press. Knowing which exercises activate specific muscles more is very beneficial to many areas of fitness, from rehab to sports we need the best training available.
