Nate Ament: "It's one of the reasons I chose Tennessee because of Coach Barnes and his faith. ... as a team, you're trying to glorify something bigger than yourself. And, ultimately, something that is Jesus Christ and is God can only lead to good things. When you're playing for something other than your own glory and the glory of others, the glory of your teammates, the glory of Christ, only good things can happen from there if you're being selfless and trying to take care of each other."
“I wish at [my player’s] age, I would’ve gone much deeper into a relationship with Jesus Christ… To me, the most important thing is to God with all my heart, soul, & mind.”

High Point Guard Chase Johnston shared The Gospel on @wakeupbarstool this morning & explained how Jesus Christ saved him though a convicting conversation with his brother 3 years ago.
Great job diving into this, @TBob53 👏
“Before I do anything, I wanna give God the glory-my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, I’m nothing. I appreciate Him giving me this opportunity to play this great game with this great organization.”
- Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud after 4 INT in a playoff loss vs Patriots
"The man on the middle cross said I could come..."
This might be the best 3-minutes of preaching I've *EVER* seen. If you don't feel this in your soul, you need to check your pulse 😭🙌

CJ Stroud on if God is blessing the Texans because of their testimony:
“I don’t want it to ever be confused, I don’t think God is like ‘the Texans are gunna win.’, but I think regardless, win or loss he gets the glory, and that’s up to us, that’s just worship. Him giving us our talents, abilities, & these jobs, he’s more than worthy of all the worship is really why we do what we do. It’s not because we want favor from the lord. In my opinion, you don’t just get favor from the lord just because you give him glory, he deserves it. It’s not because we follow Jesus that we win every game.”
Friday night had been terrible for Jesus’ followers. Their leader had been arrested and killed. They hastily buried him, leaving everyone frightened and confused. No one had expected this.
After observing the Passover Mary Magdalene went with some women Sunday morning to finish the burial procedures. What they saw would shock them and it would change the world. Jesus’ body was not in the tomb. They were told by an angel that Jesus had risen and He was alive!
Now it was really finished-the scriptures had been fulfilled. Jesus had told them many times that He would be killed but He would rise from the dead but they had not been able to grasp it. Now their eyes were opened and they started to understand. Jesus really is the savior of the world!
