@GarrenShipley 100 Virginia Guardsmen. Assume 10 have to do admin support. 3 shifts in that dangerous heat means 30 on duty at any one time. Call it 45 because they're tough. Texas border with Mexico is 1254 miles. 1 Virginian every 28 miles or will that platoon's frontage of 200m save the day?

@cToddGilbert Sigh, no. Border security is vital but having a bunch of our guardsmen standing around the desert for a few weeks won't move the needle for stopping crossings or drug smuggling. It'll just waste time and give Glenn a "security" talking point so he can sit at the big table.
