@maxfisherRE Medical tourism is the latest trend.. hair plugs in Istanbul, hip replacements in Belgium (20% of US cost), India has booming industry. If insurance companies jumped on board we’d save a fortune.. healthcare is 17.8% of US GDP
@shawngorham@shawngorham $1000 of the $3800 is principle reduction. So I’m reality he’s making $2200 pm in income/savings. Getting a HELOC would give him a down payment and he’d still be ahead. Unless your know your going to say in MI for 5-7 years the in and out cost are too high. Rent….
@vannman26 If your principle portion of your mortgage is $600 PM. You broke even…. If the property appreciated at 3%, and you locked in a 30 year mortgage at 3%… long term you on a winner… RE is a long term game…
@SkolFoodie @ApartmentsAnon@realEstateTrent As a GC you always know. You can’t get insurance unless your subs are insured, it’s the GC’s responsibility to make sure it’s up to code and it’s the GC who gives the guarentee!
@SeanODowd15@seanodowd15 I’m building 24
Rentals in a highly desirable school district, the town next to me has 150+ rental units under construction. While I agree with some of your arguments it’s hard to find SFH’s and get a high cap rate. Closer to mass transport is better in big cities.
@crazyhouseprice This would never happen in the US. @crazyhouseprice where your agent fills in a lion na bearnai contract that’s signed by buyer and seller when a deal is agreed. It’s binding on all parties, if one backs out the contract can be recorded and the property effectively can’t be sold
@RayDalio Huge fan. Why are American growth stocks so overvalued in relation to there earning or sales? What’s a reasonable future P/E ratio to look for when investing?
@robertburns73 Wait till @Amazon grabs a hold on Ireland and decimates the entire retail sector, wiping out most small & medium sized retailers as it’s done in the US. All you’ll have left are flagship stores,
food uses, services and a few big box retailers…
Apple’s main Irish arm paid over $8.5bn in corporation tax in 2021. Or 1/8 of the €68bn tax revenue received by govt in 2021… scary that 12.6% of revenue comes from one company! #taxes#ireland https://t.co/RIj9CESBvD
