@RPGBOTDOTNET 2. The initial caster adds the difference between the level of their spell and the counterspell to their save. For example, if the counterspell is 3 and the initial spell is level 7, there is a +4. If that's flipped, there is a -4 modifier.
I prefer #1 for it's simplicity.
@RPGBOTDOTNET 1. If the level of the counterspell is 2 or more levels higher than the initial spell, the initial caster has disadvantage on their CON save. If the level of the counterspell is 2 or more levels lower than the initial spell, then the CON save is made with advantage.

@SnipeGrzywa@Wizards_DnD@JeremyECrawford I disagree. I think the cunning strike cost is made after doubling for crits. Cunning strike cost "is the number of Sneak Attack damage dice you must forego to add the effect." Removing the cost before doubling would double to cost (and would just suck as a player).
@PiatPod@MrMMarsh Duolingo owl here. Long time listener. Big fan. Happy to see all of the hard work paying off for @MrMMarsh. And @elibosnick, I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed.
Just so everyone is aware, @Briercrest openly and continuously discriminates against LGBTQ people, while at the same time receiving public funding and accreditation. They need to be held accountable. #Briercrest

@thedungeoncast In the last interlude, Will mentioned that something big would have happened if the crew had given the soul eater to space Satan. What would have happened?
