The biggest illusion is that reality creates your identity.
My experience has been the opposite.
I stepped into my character first. My actions & reality followed.
Reality never created me. It was just a delayed reflection of who I had already become.

Prediction markets are becoming impossible to ignore.
The next trillion-dollar markets won’t just trade companies.
They’ll trade events.
Sports was just the beginning.
The Modern Struggle
"Lone individuals summoning inhuman willpower... against armies of scientists weaponizing food, screens, medicine, porn, games and drugs."
Something most people don't realize. Your lack of discipline isn't entirely because you're weak.
You're fighting an unfair battle.
Thousands of the smartest people in the world are paid billions to capture one thing: Your attention.
True freedom isn't the ability to do whatever you want. It's reaching a point where nothing outside of you has the power to control what's inside of you.
Freedom from fear.
Freedom from anger.
Freedom from approval.
Freedom from reaction.
That's where peace begins.

The strongest people aren't the ones who have only seen the good side of life.
They're the ones who have seen both sides.
They've seen greed & kindness. Lies & truth. Easy shortcuts & honest work. They've lived close enough to darkness to understand it.
Yet they choose integrity. To me, that's what real character is.
Not the inability to do wrong—but the ability to do wrong and consciously choose what is right.
“Every desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want.” — Naval
The hidden belief behind most desires:
“Something is missing in my life until I get it.”

“Don’t gamble everything on one deal.”
Take rational optimistic bets.
Meaning:
Positive upside. Survivable downside.
Wealthy long-term thinkers protect survival first.
Because:
If you survive, you can compound.
Choose people with intelligence, energy, and integrity.
All 3 matter.
• Intelligence without integrity = dangerous
• Energy without intelligence = chaos
• Integrity without energy = slow
Best people are smart, driven, and honest.
“Don’t take yourself too goddamn seriously.”
People with fragile egos:
- get offended easily
- can’t learn
- can’t adapt
- fear looking wrong
But calm confident people:
- can laugh at themselves
- update beliefs
- admit mistakes
- stay mentally flexible
Flexibility compounds
