@CapitalFMUganda Do they mean engineers are immune from prosecution???
They should instead use that energy to facilitate legal representation for their colleagues.
@mu_paps@UgandaPrisons@jbyabs Congratulations sir! As mentioned by one of the speakers yesterday, the service and in my view the country is in transition . No doubt the mantle of the leadership of the service is being transferred to you (in plural), we can only hope for the best. Wish you good health sir.
@KagutaMuseveni Watching some of the devastating footage of that disaster, I now agree with honorable Balaam that what we experienced recently in Nakasongola and the surrounding areas wasn't an earthquake but @mkainerugaba just visiting his people.
@sanyukatv Uganda is located in a security-volatile region where crises in neighbouring states can spill over at any moment. Peace here should be guarded by a military built not for yesterday’s rebels, but to deter and, if necessary, face the most advanced force on earth.
SAY NO TO MOB ACTIONS!
Even if a suspect is genuinely guilty of an offence (usually theft), no mob has the legal power to judge, punish, or kill them. That authority belongs exclusively to Uganda’s courts of law. Your only lawful role is to make a citizen’s arrest.
@NHelsik@jbyabs When Jesus was speaking to his disciples he asked, "do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don't you remember?" (Mark 8:18).
I think that same question applies to @NHelsik
Rest assured, when they say some leaders are God sent, @jbyabs is one of them.
@ReachDrMuganga@DaudiKabanda@Thomas_Tayebwa How about giving/sharing with the president (appointing authority) the relevant and/or necessary information if any, to help him persuade the committee to review its earlier decision? This should be centered on eligibility. Thank you.
