@JCaporoso Shaping up to be a good looking draft with solid values and addressing positions of need. Appreciate the complaints on Klubnik but, looking at class holistically, I’m fine reaching with one pick at a premium position.
@JCaporoso@ConnorJRogers@BadlandsTOJ Joe, may have been discussed, but feels like if we took Cooper at 16 and Sadiq at 30, everyone would be happy. Turned out the opposite so draft “psychos” are unhappy with the order, but who cares. In end, got 2 target players. Where they went is of little relevance in long term
@JCaporoso What are your draft thoughts now that raiders have pick 14 right ahead of our 16? Feels like we have similar needs so it’s oddly a big impact to us
@Playlikeajet1 Do we need a new, forward thinking defensive mind or someone who can simply right the ship and be effective? This defense needs to add a lot of starters and it’s coming off a historically bad season. It’s not one flashy new coach or player away from being normal.
@ConnorJRogers Why? I’m not against him whatsoever, and it seems like it would be an exciting hire, but another coach with zero NFL DC experience. Is that what this defense needs?
@NyjMike Total lack of heart and soul on this defense. Can’t recall it ever being this lifeless. (PS I’m the guy who met you on the subway - great to connect).
@michaelgbaron Stearns is 172-152 since taking over as GM. Taking a sample of post June 12 2025 only to justify the point about Diaz seems odd. Also, the team collapsed last year so maybe roster moves that look/feel uncomfortable are warranted.
@JCaporoso You absolutely make this trade. The whole point of #1 picks for this team is to find a franchise QB so if you can parlay that into a real and proven human rather than lotto ticket pick then you do it. Durability is a concern but I’d accept that risk.
