After coming across this comment a month later, I’m curious to know what the team is prioritizing these days. Codex seems to be getting most of the attention now (and understandably so), but we haven’t seen an Atlas update since March 10, which has been a bit disappointing.
Atlas is still my primary browser, and there are a few things I’d love to see updated or added. For instance:
• adding support for attaching multiple chat context tabs/windows
• add switching between Standard and Extended thinking (both in the Sidebar and the New Tab chatbox)
• add the ability to send follow-up prompts while Agent is running
• update Agent mode with longer-running, more persistent Agent workflows (it feels less capable than it did at launch)
• add a prompt rewrite/improve button in the sidebar, not just for selected text on webpages
• add automatic PiP support for video
• add JavaScript support via Apple Events
would love to hear what the roadmap looks like and what the team is focused on for Atlas going forward.
I've been using ChatGPT Atlas a lot recently and it’s been absolutely solid. Thanks for all the work you and the team have put into it. Had a few small pieces of feedback that are starting to add friction for me:
– only 1 tab for chat context. can’t really research or build in parallel
– can’t run JavaScript via Apple Events. unable to use external scripts to clip web content
– no ability to send a follow-up prompt when agent mode is active
– no “rewrite prompt” option in the sidebar. just makes iterating quickly harder
– no automatic PiP for video
– iCloud passwords support still feels spotty
None of these are huge on their own, but they definitely add enough friction in my day-to-day use. Would love to see these improved 🙇🏻♂️🤍

@abel__js@0xLauge@LEGO_Group They actually had this. It was their LEGO Digital Designer, though it didn't have AI features. Unfortunately, they retired the project. 🥲
BrickLink Studio is now the generally recommended alternative.
@alexandrabotez Chess is not a game because its supposed goal (checkmate) can’t be known or defined before play, it’s discovered only through playing. Thus, chess functions more like a process of discovery than a goal-directed game.
Why are there so many connectivity issues with the Notion MCP connector when used with Claude?
