@KenyaPower , @KenyaPower_Care
5 days without power! 😡 Poles holding our transformer fell—luckily no one was hurt. @KenyaPower_ came, propped them up, but took the transformer & never returned. What’s going on? #KPLCFail

@iamjustincscott I have never felt so understood by post. It's exactly the kind of thing I wanted to see and hear this morning. Thanks @iamjustincscott
I am at yet another crossroad but I know I have to adapt. I will have to shed my former self in order to become.
You want to be better - but you’re stuck in a loop.
You have an idea of your potential, you can see what you’re capable of, but you can’t shake the feeling that you’re falling short.
You feel like you’re living below your edge, like you’re not taking yourself to the limit and expanding your capabilities.
That’s because there are parts of yourself that need to be accepted and released.
Parts of yourself that may have even served you in the past, but as you look towards the future, are holding you back.
This is the subtractive act of self improvement - the uncovering and dissolving of certain ways of being so that you can create space for new ways of being to emerge.
This is a painful and often difficult process. It also doesn’t happen overnight.
Humans are capable of change, of self-directed evolution, but it is not easy.
Your mind wants to maintain that which is familiar and comfortable, that which is stable because it increases the perceived likelihood of your survival.
To consciously alter parts of yourself and your life - how you behave, what you do and don’t do, etc - disrupts that perceived stability.
It is not only pushing yourself into the unknown, but into a cycle of egoic death and rebirth.
But for the ambitious, for the driven, those who feel called and have the bravery to answer - you have to continuously go through this process.
It is a constant.
Embrace it, learn to love it, and strive to master it.
The more effective you are at going through iterations of self, the more responsive life will become.
You will always be in a state or moving forward, of growth, and of progress - and so there is no room for stagnation or “stuckness” because you’re always willing to do what needs to be done to overcome it.
It is the full acceptance of the one and only thing you’ve ever been and ever will be:
A human becoming.
David Goggins is the toughest man alive.
He's finished 70 ultramarathons and once held the record for the most pull-ups (4030 in 17 hours).
On a talk, he revealed his technique for overcoming mental barriers and breaking records.
Here is the 40% rule and how you can use it:
10 skills that will pay you forever:
1. Honesty
2. Empathy
3. Saying No
4. Networking
5. Consistency
6. Asking for help
7. Self-confidence
8. Communication
9. Time management
10. Positive self-talk

@break_illusions @ML_Philosophy Wisdom knows happiness, intelligence is limited and therefore can never be satisfied. So be wise. Be like a child and happiness is everywhere. Wisdom says it is better to seek happiness. Intelligence says what’s the point everything ends in pain? So let go of worry and be wise.
