@awealthofcs@mattyglesias The comments on this post in sub-stack are legitimately depressing. The number of normal people who benefit from the stock market is, idk, 1000X+ the number of hyper wealthy people that do
@MattZeitlin As an American I both kinda envy their gun laws and death stats and also laugh at them probably needing a FOID card to own a good kitchen knife
@CaptainCons Do you feel pressure to have a yeti? Because I think they’re the most overrated cooler for backyard bbq purposes. I’m sure they’re good for camping or whatever.
@CaptainCons yeah we got the same combo. Uppababy for majority of neighborhood walks. Doona for flights/ubers/errands. You can get them cheap used on FB marketplace too.
@KSoltisAnderson Sounds eerily familiar to post GFC when millennials felt similar frustration that every entry level jobs required 3-5 years experience. Are unemployment levels comparable for the age ranges? I know overall employment is a lot better
@jaycaspiankang There are also plenty of places where this isn’t the case and kids do play outside and there is community. You just don’t hear about it online.
@illinoispolicy To be fair, he’s probably the worst of them so I’d be more annoyed if I was from one of those cities and found out my mayor was taking advice from BJ than the other way around
