Hi up. If you're looking for my professional account it's now @jmilne_gt3 for all the Architecture and Environmental Psychology you can eat. This is the unprofessional stuff (music, cats, ranting about politics).
Our next generation of leaders will be our voice at a critical moment for the climate.
Be a part of it.
Join the Green Party by 27th August to vote in our leadership elections.

“Wake-up” says the man who just cut vital overseas aid for tackling climate breakdown, is pushing a £27bn road building programme, new licences for oil and gas, airport expansion and fossil fuel subsidies.
When will you treat this as an emergency @BorisJohnson ?
#ge2019 Newcastle East Green Party candidate Nick Hartley says he is encouraged that the big parties have been forced to talk about climate change this election. Nick Brown was quick to mention it in his acceptance speech as the biggest issue facing the country.
Hi Liz, I do indeed support Proportional Representation and am very much behind @MVM_Newcastle in their campaign. We urgently need to change our out-dated electoral system to ensure everyone's vote counts at elections. This is one of the key election promises for @TheGreenParty
@M1mac101 @mcgovern_mac @EuclidAlone @guardianeco @tan123 No, it shows a warming trend of circa 1.25 degrees from 1920-2020, and circa 0.9 degrees from 1980-2020; 40 years.
It also broadly accords with the red line climate models prediction in your graph.

@Mr_R1cardo@smithavt@NickHartley@TheGreenParty@MagicMagid In the absence of a set of policies, you have to look at the leader's past statements and campaigns to judge the party's likely position. Some of which has been very definitely far right. https://t.co/G0zQeW43fD
Huge late surge in interest in the clean air plans - 5.5k had completed on May 8, up to a whopping 19k by Sunday night... more than Leeds+Birmingham combined, and even beats London.
The Brexit 'party' is a limited company, with no members, no internal democratic processes and no policies. Nigel Farage, their lead candidate for the South East region, was in Newcastle upon Tyne. 'Normal campaigning' my arse.
Sadly some remainers have become radicalised, to the extent that normal campaigning is becoming impossible.
For a civilised democracy to work you need the losers consent, politicians not accepting the referendum result have led us to this.
@JohnGower1@GreenRupertRead @TorysRNefarious @PhotoLawn The site is still relying on data from two weeks ago, still claiming that the Greens will win no seats (we're projected to win 8), still advising all remain voters to vote Lib Dem in all English regions. How is that anything other than untrustworthy?
@JohnGower1@GreenRupertRead @TorysRNefarious @PhotoLawn That's terrible advice. If one remain party has a vote share just above the threshold to win two seats, and another remain party has a share just above the threshold for one seat the absolute worst thing supporters of the smaller party could do is vote for the larger party.
