Owning a call is bullish, allowing the owner to buy the stock for that strike price, which only makes sense if the actual stock is higher and since they paid 57 for it, it would really need to be over 207 to break even.
But the value of the call option will go up as the stock goes up so if the stock goes up in the next few weeks or months they can sell the calls for a lot more.
This is basically like being long the stock but for a lot less (5700 vs 17,000 to control 100 shares)
It's in the image (see highlight) and isn't actually "$500,000" of options, it's actually the value of the call (~$57) times 100 (1 contract controls 100 shares) times 50 (numbers of call options purchased) which is closer to $260,000 as of the close on Friday (for this one example)
@chamath When you search with a name that is the name of a county (Harris, Lee, etc) you get a map.
Search with a name that is not a county (Kamala, Trump) and you don't.
@elonmusk Pretty simple explanation. When you out a name that is a county, it gives you a map (Harris, Lee, etc)
When you put a name only (Kamala, Trump, etc) it does not.
@krassenstein@elonmusk I believe the results come up related to Harris County, TX. Swap out Harris for "Lee" (or any other county name) and it's the same. Swap out "Harris" for "Kamala" and the results are the same "Trump"
