They shouldn't have done it because it hardly would have moved the needle for them, but the Cardinals could have easily traded more for Skubal and done very limited damage to their farm system. Just for context. Them and about ten other orgs, and at least.
@MichaelBerrySr@Greegs99 No idea what he's being told. Can't recall if it was last night or today, but he was super frustrated watching a heater on the inner half go by for strike one. Just mash, dude.
He'll be just fine. Whole offense sucks right now, it's not just him.
@MichaelBerrySr@Greegs99 When Walker was in a mini slump going into June, I noticed he started swinging at the first pitch again. Couldn't tell you the exact date(s). Noticed it during the Twins series. He walked less but was mashing.
Needs to do that again.
@BKSportsTalk Fair.
That's about a 50 FV prospect. I don't think that it's unreasonable that a team offers a 50 FV in the mid/upper minors and another prospect.
@BKSportsTalk Isn't this all about how you are defining overwhelming? What about properly whelming?
In other words, what type of prospect compels you to move him?
Well, that's a wrap on Dustin May's tenure with the #STLCards. Nice final start for him.
Curious what the return will be. It'll be less than fans expect.
@DealinTheCards@joshjaco98 Not necessarily to blame, no. My question is if he’s here next year or not regardless.
How many managers miss the playoffs four straight years and live to tell about it?
