I got asked to substitute in primary in a ward that I haven't lived in for over two months. Either I left a great impression and they want me back, or no impression at all to even know we're gone.

I asked Alexa what my notifications were, and she ended with, "... Just say, Alexa, continue reading." Alexa in the next room overheard it and continued reading. So now Alexa is reading to Alexa, the two are best friends, and I guess I'm no longer needed.

@codythemac I will be up against the same situation in our new home. There is a small room in the basement without any other assignment for now, but I think I will use the guest bedroom as an office instead for the view.

@codythemac It was supposed to be short term, but ended up here for more than a year. Eventually upgraded from a folding chair to a decent office chair but never got around to the desk. Nice view out the window.

@Hookemcougs Pic is a week old, but our new home is now fully framed, HVAC and plumbing complete. Electrical this week, then four way inspection to follow. Hoping to be moved in sometime in October.

My favorite part of Independence Day is singing multiple verses of The Star Spangled Banner in church. The later verses solidify what or country was built upon and stands for. Happy 4th of July everyone!
