Has anyone got advice or strategies to support a yr 6 child with possible aphantasia / extremely poor visualisation skills? Trying to help with creative writing and comprehension....

@tp007b1556 You could also look at year 7 entrance tests for private secondary schools to see what skills are expected- there are some exemplars online which include comprehension, creative writing and verbal reasoning.

@MrsDaisyRizo Thank you- that’s so helpful! I use picture books with my EAL students to develop vocabulary- they tend to get so much more from it than ploughing through text alone.
