Newcastle are making a gargantuan decision which involves hundreds of millions of pounds based off pure emotion rather than logic and their fans are celebrating lol
@SamMcGuire90 Interested to see how they get a player with no pre-season, and who doesn't want to play for them, back to performing like a £100m+ player. My guess is that they don't and the deal they get when they do sell him will be a lot smaller than the one they'd get now.
Instead, they've embarrassed themselves in the market having not been able to sign higher end players. Probably because they know they'll be held prisoner if they do join.
But they're *strong* for keeping Isak hostage.
@SamMcGuire90 Letting their fragile egos get in the way. Pathetic excuse of a football club and why they will never achieve anything impressive in the long run
Mad, this. Could get ~£130m, a British record fee, for a player who is desperate to leave and has been AWOL all summer. Newcastle could've looked strong and improved their squad with the money, all while giving their project a boost.
People don't realize the extent to which things are messed up.
Liverpool have Ekitike, Wirtz, and want Isak.
Meanwhile Berta forcefully signed Gyokeres, a player the coach and scouts agreed was Tier 2 at best.
Maybe you still don't understand what happened.
🔴♟️ Alexander Isak makes his move and it was always clear since July: he only wants Liverpool.
He doesn’t even want to discuss any other option with Newcastle, and never considered Al Hilal despite reports.
Liverpool Football Club. 🇸🇪
