@ClayTravis I think most people are working some form of two jobs to make things work. Credit card debit has is at all time highs (which means people are borrowing to keep up with inflation). It’s a gigantic house of cards.

@JB_In_SC @Cackalacman 95% of the time tee box should be chosen based on handicap……I know plenty of guys that hit their 5 iron 195 to 200 who have zero business playing 7000 plus yards.

Rare occasion is someone older that is less than 5 handicap

@Cade4ISU @F1Sauce I know a +4 handicap that grips the club like a baseball bat and has a terrible swing. Knows exactly what the ball is going to do every time and knows exactly where it’s going.

I don’t judge swings. I judge someone seeing them think and play their way around a golf course.

Most times appraisers will do this (even if comps show higher) to avoid high CU scores (system used to evaluate appraisals). The system will give high scores if appraiser goes to far over purchase price. Which triggers a possible field review or second appraisal. A ton less headache to just bring it in at the contract price.

There is more to golf than yardage. I am not even sure of your handicap and would bet you wouldn’t break 80 at my home course with the 38 to 40 putts you would have

I’m not traveling 4 hours or however far to play for lunch.

Not claiming anything. All well documented. Go look up my GHIN. You can even look up my home course which is 6400 to 6590 depending on which sides you play with course ratings at or above 72. Slopes range from 135 to 141.
