@Nadeshot Removing the ball from its original lie and placing it near the drop area before having the rules official there watching is just a bad look. He should have carefully lifted the ball to confirm suspicion then placed the ball back and called the rules official over to confirm

@Nadeshot I think the rules or etiquette need to be re-evaluated after this. I can’t say whether he actually cheated or not (although it doesn’t look good) but I do feel he didn’t use proper etiquette. He shouldn’t have palmed his ball, tampered with ground or failed to replace the ball.
