@Mattissimo07@MrJoKeR604 How many people do you know have IPhone paying high cell phone bills, own multiple vehicles, a house (or two), boat, go see the Leafs, vacation? Some people are legitimately impacted by cost of living. Others it is due to priorities, or people not living within their means!
@Statutoryape902 @mdt546 What about the fact that someone can lose but just go to another riding and then have someone resign so they can run? That's no better than a long ballot. A person in any party should not be able to run until next election. But guess that process/rule is okay for Conservatives?
@myabradshaw78 I'm fine if they did it to Carney as it doesn't break the law. You may not like it but I don't like Pierre lost but can just move around until he gets elected. Should have to wait until next election. That to me is not right for any party. I guess that rule you dont mind?
@BloomsCereus@DemosKratosCA@NotaliaMateo So then why not make that a requirement for everyone? Why should a Canadian get services if they haven't paid into the tax system for 5 years? Just because they were born here means they can abuse the system?
@DemosKratosCA Are you going to do something about people who are citizens who abuse the system? I'd rather my tax dollars support someone fleeing for humanitarian reasons versus a Canadian abusing social services. Not sure there is a way to calculate that cost but that abuse is still abuse!
@KenTurner7 @mdt546 In the end you could question the ethics of Pierre losing and then asking another person that was elected by the people to step down so he can have a 2nd chance. He lost the election, he lost his seat so now he runs in a totally different province now. But its legal!
@KenTurner7 @mdt546 That wasn't interference. You may not like it but it was legal and democratic process. So it's a little scary that you are asking how to stop a democratic process to help Pierre win. That to me sounds like election interference!
@ActusLegal @tertwos66 @JinglaiHe Or how maybe they just don't like or trust Pierre! I think that is the reality. People didn't want to vote for Trudeau but they got an alternative. I will never vote for Pierre. People don't trust him or like his slogans and negativity. Party needs new leader. He had his shot.
@itzmillertyme @brianlilley Gas goes up and down. Nothing to do with Libs or Carbon tax. I bought gas for 1.18 b4 Carbon tax ended have paid 1.30 after. I paid 1.18 weeks later. The price can go up 20 cents in hours and be 11 cents different across town at the same time. Must be Carney? Give it a rest. Lol
@MarkGlancy01@KalkKen@BKBakker@PierrePoilievre Actually Jim Flaherty's aide who worked for the Conservatives for 20 years said he did. I would take his word over Pierre (or Pierre's wife) since he is not running for PM.
@cmonteiro2012@MrJoKeR604 when I look at rent, housing, food all were rising under Harper in some cases at same or even greater % rate. About the only one you can blame Libs for is gas and it's back down now. If wages didn't increase with cost increases are either totally to blame?
@LadyOleaceae @MrJoKeR604 Data shows rent rose average 30% under Harper. why didn't they do something proactively about increased housing costs b4 they left & it became a larger issue? House prices increased overall on avg 67% during Harper. Now they care when they are out of power?
@Doonz333@LarryBrockMP He didn't do anything to me. What did he personally do to you? I still have my freedoms, my job, my home, and make a decent wage. I want to know what Carney who has been in power for a few weeks did to you?
@son_canucku @LarryBrockMP Carney advised Harper before or did you forget that. And as much as they have tried to down play it Flaherty's former chief staff even said he played a big role in helping through the recession. Went as far as to tell Polliviere's wife it was disgraceful to downplay it!
@AmHi141414@McfarlaneGlenda I agree. it started really spiking under Harper & kept rising under Trudeau. Covid didn't help. It may drop but essentially I dont believe the market will go back to what it was regardless of supply and demand. And a developer/builder likely wants to sell million $ houses.
@AmHi141414@McfarlaneGlenda The reason they can't own makes sense because otherwise they won't be affordable after people sell them. What good would be selling cheap houses so that people can sell them and make a profit and drive up the costs. The issue isn't only supply, it's supply of "affordable".
@MJJohns89100431@McfarlaneGlenda I don't trust the guy. He flipped on other important things in the past. Just read news story today about how they dealt with the press at an event. They were physically pushing a journalist. Same type of things under Harper & reminiscent of Trump and his actions with media.
@bradponsart@CoryBMorgan This is not surprising considering US is targeting countries with tariffs and we are one of largest trading partners. Then there is inflation that contributes to GDP growth. Notice how many of the large GDP predictions are conuntries with higher inflation which we don't want.
@bradponsart@CoryBMorgan I don't believe the country is broken and I know many others that feel the same. You sound like the same people that regret voting Trump in. We don't want that BS! If you like that u really should think about going there although they don't want immigrants now! Just stop it!
