Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that the latest SBM Intelligence survey shows that the majority of Nigerians have rejected the current fuel policy and are demanding relief from the high cost of living.

Atiku, in a statement on Tuesday issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, said the finding that 67.4 per cent of respondents wanted petrol subsidy restored represented public verdict on the fuel subsidy removal policy.

He said the figure represented the majority of Nigerians who are seeking an alternative approach to managing fuel pricing and cost of living.

H.E Atiku Abubakar has welcomed the reconciliation between two leading ADC figures in Jigawa, Senator Muhammad Sabo Nakudu and Hon. Bashir Adamu Jimbo.
