@portvanusa was pleased to tour students today from @eoumountaineers - Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR. These future farmers and ranchers are vitally important to our country. Of special interest to the group was the @UnitedGrain facility. Go Mountaineers!
@portvanusa Port reps had a great time last night at Columbia Springs dinner & auction. Did you know every 5th grader in Vancouver and Evergreen schools comes here to learn about nature, fish & other critters? Thank you for your work @ColumSpringsEEC !
Our @portvanusa team is at #discoverTerminal1 watching the Red Lion sign come down. It will be removed in sections weighing approx 13,000 lbs. each. Exciting!
@portvanusa Our project team took advantage of the sun and toured progress at #Terminal1 today. Thermory decking is looking great with historic timeline etched in, landscaping underway, furniture taking shape, #RenaissanceTrail and #ACHotelbyMarriott looking shipshape too.π¦ΊβοΈπ’
Had a great day with @MikeBomar27, @portvanusa and Leadership Clark County. We toured @CityRidgefield, the charming Main Street and the new Pioneer Street Rail Overpass. Many thanks to @PortRidgefield commissioner Scott Hughes and Marykay Lamoureaux for speaking to the group.
Iβm on @portvanusa terminal today and we have a grain ship in the river waiting to load wheat. Note the white stern buoy in the river which allows these big ships to tie up and wait their turn at dock. βοΈπ’
Diverse cargo mix, incredible work from ILWU Local 4, and port staff working remotely managed to pull off a record year for @portvanusa in 2020. Wind components led the way as 7 mill. metric tons of commodities moved across port docks: https://t.co/L2xrwwX4ud
Gorgeous day for a project tour of @portvanusa Terminal 1. The @ACHotels is completing parking levels and with the amphitheater gone, Vancouver Landing is taking shape. Spring has come to #DiscoverTerminal1 !

Busy day at the @portvanusa as we invited the media in to see the 76 meter (250 ft.) @Goldwind_Global wind blades and components. The blades are almost as long as the Statue of Liberty and are the largest received on the west coast of North America.
HUGE... the Port of Vancouver offloading enourmous wind turbines and blades today. The 250β blades are the longest ever transported across North America. @portvanusa says these wind turbines are headed to Canada aboard specially equipped trucks to handle thier length #LiveOnK2
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the Oregonians still hard at work, helping us all: grocery store employees, truck drivers, farmers, ranchers, workers in food processing facilities, port employees unloading shipments, utility operators and many more.
Thank you, Thank you.
