@JKDodgers@SouthpawP4nda Dude, this is pathetic. (A) several interviews and statements with Astros admitting and taking accountability and (b) the playoffs were too loud for the bangs to be heard. That’s why a lot of the times it was used was in games against bad teams they were already beating
@KenCageRepo@Nyanasaur Even if he’s halfway to third, he’d be out. That’s about the distance for a shortstop to throw to first and you would not argue that he’d easily throw out a batter that was half way to first when the ball was released. That’s just home cooking scoring and happens a lot
@Jujutalksball@MLB@astros This is some heavy rationalizing. Still at least a 2 RBI double to make it 4-3 and then he scores on Cam’s hit. So whine more? 🤷♂️
@TyTalksBaseball Not sure I agree. If it was hit 20 feet deeper and the CF with a better arm caught it running to first, we’d be arguing that it was a bad idea to not run. The 2B made a much better throw than he would have on average. Yes, the catcher muffed, but the 2B made a near perfect throw
@AstrosFansUK@miketroutman20@brianmctaggart@dogtx Are sure the coach didn’t send him or at least tell him not to? Since it made it two outs, you would send him on anything that might be close. The next hitter was scheduled to be Price or PH of the bench. Plus, if he’s out, you would have Myers on second next inning
@Texan4USA@AltuveEnjoyer What is incorrect? The only thing you’re going on is strawmen (no one denied what the Astros did) and ignoring actual events (other teams were caught before AND AFTER). You are just trying to find some moral reason to root for a team when there is none. It’s sports, not church
