@MrARobbins @timleunig Likely to be lots of factors incl. the grade distribution. Higher prior attainment would likely mean less disadv. students who nationally make less progress. The culture of school/cohort. Ability to attract staff. Less time on grade 4/5 interventions so can focus on 7/8/9 etc

@edmunds_dr Ah thank you. Each year I'm wavering in switching from OCR to WJEC. But the initial workload to resource and learn the nuance of the spec puts me off. Well done for making the switch!

@StanCollymore Also...they just care about the numbers. 1/4 to 1/3 full at 150/100/70 brings in more than full at 30/20/10. All about money and not the atmosphere or culture around the sport.

@StanCollymore Agree with pricing. But Birmingham has a massive image problem and can't sell itself or the events well enough. When we had the commonwealth games we had good hype and feeling. This year nothing. Barely know it's going on.

@head_teach I really think the purpose of schools needs to be carefully considered / defined / shared. Then everyone can work towards this purpose in a more focused way.
