The question was never India’s to answer. If a Norwegian journalist asks, “Why should we trust India?”, that is fundamentally a question for Norway’s leadership. There's no need for India to seek validation from anyone on this account.
Too often, the Indian establishment still craves affirmation from legacy Western institutions. That colonial reflex needs to end. India has nothing to prove.

ମହାକାଳୀ ଅଟାକଳ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଏବଂ ଏଇଟା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ର ଘରୋଇ କମ୍ପାନୀ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଚୁଡ଼ା ପାକେଟ ରେ ସେ ଆଗରେ ଚୁଡ଼ା କୁ ହିନ୍ଦୀ ରେ ଯାହା କୁହନ୍ତି, "ପୋହା" ବୋଲି ଲେଖନ୍ତି ଆଉ ପାକେଟ ପଛରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆରେ କଣ କୁହନ୍ତି ସେଇଟା ଲେଖନ୍ତି। ଯେବେକି ଏଇଟା ଓଲଟା ହେବାର ଥିଲା। ଯଦି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଘରୋଇ କମ୍ପାନୀ ତାହାଲେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କୁ କଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ ଦିଆ ଯିବନି? ସମସ୍ତେ ଚୁଡ଼ା କଣ ବୁଝନ୍ତି।
ଆପଣ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଭାରତ ର କୌଣସି ମଧ୍ୟ ଘରୋଇ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଜିନ୍ସ ପୁରା ଭାରତ ରେ ବିକା ଯାଉଛି, ସେ ନିଜ ଭାଷା ଲିପି ରେ ଖାଇବା ଜିନ୍ସ ର ନାଁ ପାକେଟ ଆଗରେ ଲେଖିଥାନ୍ତି। ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜିନ୍ସ ମଧ୍ୟ ଭାରତ ର କୋଣ ଅନୁକୋଣ ରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହୁଏ।
ତାହାଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଷା ରେ ସେ ଖାଇବା ଜିନ୍ସ କୁ ସର୍ବପ୍ରଥମେ ପାକେଟ ଉପରେ ଲେଖନ୍ତି।
ଏଇଟା ଖାଲି ଗୋଟିଏ ଉଧାରଣ ନୁହେଁ, ଏମିତି ଅନେକ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଘରୋଇ କମ୍ପାନୀ ମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅଲଗା ଭାଷା କୁ ନିଜ ମାର୍କେଟିଙ୍ଗ ରେ ବେଶୀ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
ଏହି ଛୋଟ ଛୋଟ ଜିନ୍ସ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାତି ହିସାବ ରେ ଆମ ମାନସିକତା ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି ଆମ ଭାଷା ଓ ସଂସ୍କୃତି ପ୍ରତି।
ସବୁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଯଦି ନିଜ ନିଜ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ଆମ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା ଓ ସଂସ୍କୃତି କୁ ଆଗ ଧାଡ଼ିରେ ରଖନ୍ତେ, କେତେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧି ପାନ୍ତା ଆମ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସଂସ୍କୃତି, ପରମ୍ପରା ଓ ଭାଷା।

There are only four Dhams in India and the #JagannathDham at Puri is one of them.
The temple inaugurated in Digha cannot be a #JagannathDham. So My humble request to Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial, please immediately order not to call it as Jagannath Dham as it hurts the sentiments of the devotees of Lord Jagannath and it also creates confusion. It misrepresents established religious practices and will create confusion across the globe for both follower of Hindu/Sanatan Dharma.
