@DeTix_Tony@vmarks@amazon Never did figure it out. Amazon doesn't give you enough diagnostic information to really be able to figure much out about the attacks yourself.
My suspicion is it was somebody who intercepted some traffic and tried some sort of credential replay attack, but I don't really know.
There might be some shenanigans going on at @Amazon today. This is the second warning I've gotten like this today; and yes, they're legit warnings from Amazon, not counterfeit phish.
The other warning was for a "generic Android 10" device in North Carolina.
@therockyfiles@AP@TerryGaney@gatewayjreview But despite the never ending onslaught of trolls (not you) looking for my notoriously Internet-avoidant homonym and finding me instead, I'm sad about this news. He consistently reported straight news so neutrally, you immediately KNEW his haters were wrong.
@wnguygunbiminl1@fryan@arstechnica I am happy to hear that. I know you hear a lot of xenophobia from people in the USA, but I do not believe Chinese people are any worse than American people. I hope this feeling is translated well.
@tab126 I usually use MX Checker for this kind of thing, but there are a ton of free online validators. If you can't find exactly the kind of validator you're looking for at MX Checker, explore your favorite search engine.

@Keiranebelegger@ArchivalSystem@SmoothDunk You do not speak for "cis people." You speak for yourself.
I was assigned male at birth, consider myself just as male today as the doctor did in 1972, and I do not find frank discussions of trans people's issues even slightly threatening. Why should I?
