@angertab Looks like AP is soft-confirming that the explosion was missile fuel. That's a MAJOR problem for Iran and smells very much like sabotage to prevent them from fueling a "True Promise III" if the US/IDF hit Iran's reactors/nuclear storage facilities. https://t.co/7iinSQkJco
It's one of the genuinely "secret" weapons in use today, as the only info that is publicly available on it is the rough size and shape, from a couple leaked US military documents.
Craziest thing is, there is no known radar signature for it, even for low-fidelity systems.
@angertab Look at this. Rare footage of the secret Israeli RA-01 long-range spy drone. This thing is the Bigfoot of HALE drones in terms of image quality and there is no ground footage of it. It probably explains some "UFO" sightings though. https://t.co/Pq8392zGGX
Meet the RA-01, a long-range Israeli stealth spy drone built for deep penetration missions.
It can fly for hours over enemy territories thousands of miles away without being detected.
Its wingspan is around 53 feet, It’s a pretty big bird.
It’s been operational for years…
@HLC_actual @SprinterObserve I don't know how you would fit this into a bit, but, on size alone, the Houthi spokesman is losing a fist-fight to Franklin. It just endlessly amuses me how this nepo-baby Oompa-Loompa is they guy they put up when they want to talk tough.
@SpencerGuard Also, this is only the penetration of a single bunker buster. I don't think that any public study of the potential depth of a massive combined attack like the IDF used to kill Nasrallah is available. They used 81 different bunker busters, staggered, to basically drill the bunker.
@MMike403@BriannaWu Let's put it this way. If a Dreamer from Germany were to join a group of white supremacists and intimidate black students in a library, would you want them to stay? No, because the principle holds.
@MMike403@BriannaWu I think that the Dreamers deserve a fair shot at citizenship. Basically, stay out of trouble and get an education, and they should easily get citizenship. Participating in a mob that ethnically-targets Americans with threats of violence is a hard line for me.
@lovabler0gue@shaunmmaguire@balajis I certainly don't think that all of them were in contact with terrorists. That said, one or two at the leadership level look very likely to have a connection given the timing. They said "stay tuned" 3 minutes before the attack began, off months of silence.
@CNN This is an amazing headline given that your story admits that Hezbollah fired 5 rockets earlier today; the IDF struck the launch sites. You ignore the actual act violating the truce and focus on the response in the headline, which, statistically speaking, is what most people see.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox Another key thing to ask is "why is the camera running right now?" There are a lot of videos where the person who is about to be injured is the focus of the camera before anything happens. Same with "injured person running evacuation" videos with 5+ smart phones filming.
@Bretosionic @sentdefender Most long and mid range ballistic missiles are technically "hypersonic" outside of the atmosphere, and Russia and co take advantage of the lack of knowledge about this to pump up their weapons on the world stage.
@Bretosionic @sentdefender To be fair, it WAS hypersonic when it was intercepted, as Arrow hits threats in their exo-atmospheric phase. When Russia and their allies say "hypersonic" they are claiming a terminal hypersonic, that works in the atmosphere, which none of them actually have.
@abbythelibb_ Also, it's not true. References to Mossad in the documents refer to join-ops with Mossad to fight the USSR. Given that it's still classified, it probably regarded some seriously nasty stuff that hasn't been made public, too. Containment during the Cold War was wild.
@visegrad24 This is fine in uncontested waters, but the moment they try to use these to deploy troops in a war, this is just one big, soft, target for any number of weapons. And good luck to anyone and anything traveling over this when it gets hit.
@lion_4_zion@Osint613 They shouldn't annex that area, even though the villages voted for that; annexation has additional political issues. They should make it into a Druze protectorate, controlled entirely on the ground by the Druze, with weapons training and air support provided by the IDF.
@sentdefender The only things I can think of that would be a serious concern would be 1) The SHORAD upgrades for the Stryker, but those haven't been finalized yet to my knowledge; or 2) The Iron Fist upgrade to the Bradley, but that's an independent system, so specs aren't likely accessible.
@sentdefender It's not a shock that China is trying to spy on our military (let's be honest, everybody spies on everybody) and steal tech. The surprise here is that they are targeting Stryker and Bradley system. Those aren't exactly cutting edge systems and most of them are known tech.
