It's bizarre and inappropriate the that president of the United States is taking calls from multiple journalists in the middle of ongoing strikes - thinking out loud about US/allied diplomatic and military responses, and telling reporters what he's going to tell allies before he tells those allies.
No criticism of the reporters -- they're doing their jobs. But insane that POTUS receives -- and often answers --a wave of calls from journalists as events unfold in the middle of his wartime decisionmaking (and, yes, it's a war).
And it's even more disturbing coming as it does from a leader featured in a morning broadcast interview that demonstrates in such striking fashion how detached he is from day-to-day reality.
This is unhinged. If a family member behaved this way, you'd worry about them. If a CEO behaved like this, the board would meet. He's living in an alternate reality and furious when a person won't indulge his fantasies.
Again, he gets graded on a curve. Dude is losing his shit because a reporter pushes back a bit on his lies, and he loses his temper, insults her, and walks out of the interview. And yet, he keeps being presented as a sane and normal person.
If this is such an acute fear, probably should have picked someone other than Bill Pulte for DNI, because that decision made the need for warrants almost comically obvious.
If you’ve noticed the people who scream the loudest about neocons, foreign wars, and civilian deaths love Russia, which is currently bogged down in a foreign war it started and has killed far more people than the other country they keep ranting about, you aren’t crazy.
A lot of people likely assumed Democrats would bungle America 250 with wokeness. There may have been some of that. But that would’ve been better than a narcissistic rally celebrating the president, which is far more offensive to the Founding ideals than cringe land affirmations.

As the DOJ opens a criminal perjury probe over a civil case, remember that federal judges have called out dozens of ICE witnesses for lying under oath in recent months.
I think we can call this. Cornyn’s first senate race in 2002 was my first campaign. Congress continues to lose people interested in legislating in favor of candidates interested in…not. Sad to see.
