Working 8–9 hours a day, then coming home with barely 3–4 hours for yourself—hours that disappear into eating, showering, chores, and getting ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
At some point, you have to wonder: if all your time, energy, and youth are being spent preparing for the next working day, when do you actually get to live?
you can call me selfish or lazy, but there’s no way i’m having kids who are gonna depend on me for 20+ years with no damn break, then pretending i’m supposed to be excited about it. i know myself. i’m not the one.
I’ll say it again and again. Working 8 to 9 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week, 11 months a year just to barely afford one week of vacation is a form of systemic violence. You do not work to live, you live to work.
and lemme say that she’s is genuinely living life to the fullest... she visits museums in every city on tour, always reading, joins art classes, and makes time for working out. she really knows how to enjoy life to the maximum and it’s honestly so inspiring to watch🥹🥹
We are not “broke” and “burnt out” we’re being robbed and exploited by the parasite class and being told it’s an individual failing and we just need to work harder.
