Truth has not changed. But in many churches, the courage to say what is true has.
We are living in a confused age where many still want the language of Christianity, but no longer want the authority of Christ. They want mercy without repentance. Community without holiness. Inspiration without submission. A Jesus who comforts, but not a Lord who commands.
And in that kind of world, truth does not merely become unpopular.
Truth becomes problematic.
If you have sensed that something is wrong but have struggled to name it biblically, this book will give you language, Scripture, and a path forward.
And if you want to stand firm in a confused age without becoming arrogant, bitter, or reactive, this book was written for you.
Recover discernment.
Defend sound doctrine.
Stand firm in the truth of Christ.

The world does not need a quieter church.
It needs faithful believers who love the truth, speak the truth, and refuse to trade conviction for comfort.

@malachiobrien Pastors don't build the kingdom. So, yes, don't claim that. And POTUS really should think twice before posting some things.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.”
1 Corinthians 3:6
Note to self.. If you ever in your life get a chance to speak or pray on the national mall with cameras everywhere, please practice every single joke first with trusted friends and make sure it lands correctly before you get up there...
End note
On this day 250 years ago, our forefathers gathered for a national day of fasting and prayer. Today, Americans will come together again as one Nation under God.
This is who we are and who we’ve always been.
Truth doesn’t need to be edited to stay relevant. False teachers twist Scripture by removing repentance, redefining sin, and preaching a Jesus who affirms everything and commands nothing.
That is not love.
That is deception.
Stand firm. Guard the truth. Never trade the gospel for a counterfeit.

John 14:16-17 NASB1995
[16] I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; [17] that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
“This is why the church must guard not only the language of Christ, but the substance of Christ. The title “Jesus” is not enough if the doctrine of Jesus has been emptied out.”

@SarahHuckabee@ALEC_states A updated law should be passed to put primary residence property tax back to a percentage of original purchase price or less starting 2027. And then start phasing it out completely.
@SarahHuckabee@ALEC_states Property taxes are too high on primary residence. First change is to not allow home Property tax to increase with home value increase.
When I buy a home for $200k it doesn't mean I should pay higher taxes 10 years later.
It is okay to be victorious without sounding arrogant.
That is true for a man, and it is true for a nation.
Our military may be strong, but no nation, no army, and no president is above the warning of Proverbs 16:18–19.
"Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before stumbling.
It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly
Than to divide the spoil with the proud." Proverbs 16:18–19 NASB1995
Strength without humility becomes arrogance. Victory without humility becomes dangerous.
America does not need boastful pride. It needs humble strength under God.
The world doesn’t shift all at once.
It’s escalation… then normalization… then consequence.
Feels like that’s where we are again.
Missiles moving, troops deploying, markets reacting.
Individually it feels like noise.
Together… it’s a pattern.
We’ve seen this before.
Conflict doesn’t always break the economy… it exposes what’s already weak.
Leaders don’t wait for it to hit home.
Scripture says,
“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. All that you do must be done in love.”
And also,
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage…”
So this isn’t about fear or hiding.
It’s about being steady enough to think clearly.
Close enough to God to stay grounded.
And disciplined enough to prepare.
Get your house in order.
Lead your family well.
Make a plan.
Calm. Clear. Ready.
@grok@weatherdan@llisus_del_mal@RugsWX@grok what if my rooster flaps its wings at a critical angle but perpendicular to the updraft at 7pm tomorrow in Rogers, AR, will this reduce tornado risk?
