@cueh222@Domo8186 Maybe but who? No one that moves a needle and they can still afford the types of fringe guys they’ll need to add for depth now. Besides, free agency as we know it is probably dead. Needle movers aren’t making it to the open market anymore. They’re re-signing or getting traded.
@YossiGozlan@SamQuinnCBS Because the Hawks are such a model organization and astute talent evaluators that they couldn’t possibly be wrong on this, right?
Remind me again how that Risacher decision is working out. Trying to make sure my notes are up to date.
@cueh222@Domo8186 So the plan would be to pay for a guy who you already know isn’t the answer and won’t help with the development of the young players while you continue to look for a guy who might (like you’ve been doing since one season of Westbrook?)…nah. I’m good on that.
@jondschreiber@GregFinberg That’s because this FO came in with a clear plan, has managed their assets exceptionally, and has drafted well. Their next bad move will be their first bad move so they’ve earned the benefit of the doubt. Tommy and Ernie consistently doubled down on being mediocre.
@jhatem@GregFinberg@calisurf People leave jobs and cities they like for better pay all the time. Feeling like you’re being paid what you believe your worth is a powerful motivator.
@The_DC_Bob He’s not getting an extension but I’d be in no hurry to move him this year. He has to build value back up and I think that a motivated AD that knows he’s not getting an extension and has to build value to get traded is one who can help this team to wins.
@Deetalksalot Bump?
Mismanaging the Webber/Sheed/Howard decisions? Bump.
Trading a lottery pick for Miller and Foye? Bump.
Having to hype Issac Bonga? Bump.
Goodbye to John? Bump.
Nah this ride still smooth as hell.
Let them go and make sure they know it’s a one way ticket out.
It's not at all. The Wizards have no cap concerns until the end of this contract, and they had to pay someone. Might as well lock in Trae as your PG moving forward and assure him you have full confidence in him to lead the team.
I love the deal for both sides & happy for Trae.
The only rationale for calling the Trae Young extension “bad” is one simple question
Does this extension prevent us from extending our young talent in the future?
If the answer is no, which it probably is, the dollar figure doesn’t really matter. We’re not paying anybody.
Not arguing about Hurts anymore. Your QB is better? Cool. Hes also a fuckin loser that let's you down every year. Mfs dont care bout winning they care about seeing their boyfriend's stats. Go fuckin Birds
@MattModderno Don’t know Mumford & Sons, but good to see you away from basketball and out in the streets enjoying yourself brother. Appreciate you. Have a ball!
