@bvelaski It's like me and the Cowboys. I wish I could just give them up. I hate virtually everything about them, especially the important stuff. But they were my first sports love and I just can't make myself do it. Maybe we should try hypnosis.
@DougHaller Agreed. That said, I think this is just what motivates him. Sure, he's petty sometimes, but he's a master at finding things to fuel his intensity and narrow his focus. It's hard to comprehend the mind of someone who performs at such a level. As a Suns fan, I appreciated him.
@brettkurland I've played it 1259 times, with a 95% win rate, and missed yesterday's. Ha! My lone single-guesser was by following your same logic. The devastation of my guess word being the clue and me not guessing it first would be too much to take.
@DuaneRankin Love your work, Duane. Thank you for your coverage. Just saw the report. Were those the only 3 questions you asked? Did you consider asking about the play leading up to Brooks's ejection? Was the potential foul by LeBron on Brooks's 3 not reviewable for any related impact?
@PaolaBoivin I think your outlook is spot on. I saw ASU Twitter melting down last night and all I could think of was how poor their perspective was. If someone told me 2 years ago where the program would be right now, I'd be ecstatic. This is a good team and a program that is on the rise.
@shoewizard59 Gotcha. I didn't know they saw or addressed it. But you're absolutely right; too many times, the umpires eschew accountability for brazen self-defense. Tonight was refreshing to see.
