@kayla35821@Reprrid Can you look from a cause/effect standpoint? Now I am in no way defending the man; he’s out of control douche; I am not justifying his behavior. But she was the direct cause of his wrath; had she stopped, he would have stopped. I think a lot of ppl are getting on her b/c of this.
@kayla35821@Reprrid I concur, it is disrespectful and immature. At what point tho does she have any accountability? Clearly the man was out of control. No one in that state is gonna just walk it back. She kept poking and poking and instigating. Can I get you to agree both were wrong?
@st_nick93@BillyBobo53@theMakarioz But what was the RAS for including her in their investigation? It was a traffic stop over the drivers seatbelt. Whatever evidence they found on her should be suppressed
@Orwellsphone2@theMakarioz Correct in Brendlin was a SC decision; your interpretation is incorrect w/regards to this.Decision wasn’t passengers are detained but that evidence collected during unlawful stop can be suppressed, overturning Cali. ruling to contrary. States can also allow passengers to leave.
@Orwellsphone2@theMakarioz I stated case law isn’t law, it’s precedent, which is 100% accurate. Law can’t be deviated from; case law can and there are 3 mechanisms for doing so: Overruling, Distinguishing, and Reversing.
@Orwellsphone2@theMakarioz There are plenty of instances where Stare Decisis can be deviated from. And do you understand the difference between Binding Authority & Persuasive Authority? Precedent from one state doesn’t fall under Stare Decisis in another. I stand by my original response
@GigglingGanon Tbh look where they were trying to let him out; he probably thought they were gonna beat him or kill him. They should’ve had a translator. Why else would a person do that? He has probably seen shit like this before and it wasn’t to be released.
@MangnallCr29553@Deidra8378021 Yeah kids do lie and as a parent you can tell when they are. That child was not lying. When a young child lies they will try to be overly convincing. This little one was more concerned with getting in trouble for saying cuss words that mom said. I believe everything that kid said
@RepJeffries How’s that harder to vote? You need photo ID for just about anything; I’d think that as important as it’s alleged that voting is, only want the registered person voting. There’s a list of registered voters, makes sense to have ID to prove you’re the registered person.
@st_nick93@BillyBobo53@theMakarioz She tried to leave before a dog was even mentioned. I’ve walked off of traffic stops as a passenger 3x in my life. No one said shit to me.
@Lynn1726@BillyBobo53@theMakarioz I’ll tell you the same thing I told the guy whom brought up a California case; that’s in another state and case law is not law. It may be precedent but it’s not law.
@Orwellsphone2@theMakarioz FYI, that’s in California first off. Second, and I can’t believe more people don’t know/comprehend the fact that case law is not law. It may set a precedent but it is not law.
@_makaylaaaa@braelyn_joy@Azariel91 There is no such thing as transphobia; there is no such thing as trans. We took a documented mental illness and made it mainstream acceptable and said anyone who doesn’t indulge in the delusion is scared? WTF is going on here?
