IMO we’ll unfortunately never have socialized medicine b/c it’s antithetical to our culture and scares people.

This flawed system has mechanisms for the uninsured — 90 day retroactive Medicaid coverage, financial aid/charity care. It’s a case for patient advocates

@drkeithsiau Our medical system is broken and we’ve been trying to reform it since the civil war.

That bill can be real if you don’t have insurance - hospitals charge an asinine amount but the insurance company has an allowed amount (among other things) which suggest he was uninsured.
