@FrankFWJH and last last thing if u want the proper going out area, anywhere around camden street / george’s street / drury street / fade st. / harcourt st. is really fun! Don’t go to diceys, D2 or Flannery’s (many young ppl). Gay nightclub = The George (I recommend)
@FrankFWJH walk through Trinity
Go on a Viking Splash Tour (35 quid though)
If you want swimming, Forty Foot, Seapoint or Vico Baths
Basically anywhere on the DART line is really nice
Kilmainham jail
IMMA (near the jail)
Phoenix park (Wellington monument esp)
@FrankFWJH Bowling I would go to Lane 7, uncertain about minigolf but anywhere on the south side of the city there are LOADS of golf courses.
Also for parks: Merrion Square and st. stephen’s green
(All of the cool georgian buildings are near merrion)
also grafton st (shopping!)
@FrankFWJH Bars: Kodiak in Rathmines, Caribou, Anywhere on Drury St. (Student area), Kehoes or The Ginger man of u want an old vibe
Food: Xian on South Anne St (Spice bag), Doom slice (pizza), vice (also pizza)
Coffee: Cloud picker, Shoe lane, dolce sicily, Bread 41
@FrankFWJH@Scot_law_twnk Massively overhyped. Go for a wander during the day as it’s the closest thing we have to an old town, but don’t go out as there are too many better spots to go out
@businessposthq I don’t care if they just bulldoze everyones gafs on the metro north route and flatten half or Georgian dublin to get a skyscraper of apartments built, just do it. And while you’re at it do a nuclear power plant too.
@DaraghCassidy@OlaLN from what i understood, it wouldn’t go to the airport and would still terminate over 2km away, it would be extended to connect with metrolink at the northwood station
