One month after starting the war in Iran, this is the statement of the President of the United States on Easter Sunday.
These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.
Khanna: "If we can chase Hillary Clinton, who hasn't been in office for 20 years, certainly we can get Pam Bondi to explain why she covered up documents, why we haven't had prosecutions"
Reporter: “How many generals have you fired?”
Hegseth: “I don’t know the number.”
Reporter: “You don’t know the number? It’s eight. Why did you fire them?”
Hegseth: “At the pleasure of the president.”
The Secretary of Defense does not know how many generals he has fired.
During an active war.
Neal Katyal: "We didn't specifically ask for refunds because our legal time saw as a matter of course, if we win the case we do think refunds will come back. We are today launching a task force to fight for those refunds. We will fight tooth and nail for them if the federal govt tries to hold that money back."
Statement from the Prime Minister of Denmark 🇩🇰:
“I must say this very clearly to the United States:
It makes absolutely no sense to speak of any necessity for the United States to take over Greenland. The United States has no legal basis to annex one of the three countries of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The Kingdom of Denmark — and thus Greenland — is a member of NATO and is therefore covered by the Alliance’s collective security guarantee. We already have a defence agreement between the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States that grants the U.S. broad access to Greenland. In addition, the Kingdom has made significant investments in security in the Arctic.
I therefore strongly urge the United States to cease its threats against a historically close ally, and against another country and another people who have stated very clearly that they are not for sale.”
