@seedoilprince In this day and age, people posting memes about bikini armor in games are pure clickbait. I can count on 1 finger how many mainstream games in the past 5 or so years actually have...well...revealing female outfits in general, never mind armor.

@Genki_JPN Project Spirits looks to almost certainly be a mobile/gacha game. Quite possibly a spiritual successor to their previous gacha before Nikke, Destiny Child. It has a very similar style as that games primary artist.
@berony27 @lucasmach94 @Pirat_Nation Nvidia GPU means nothing on any major distro now. I've run both Mint and Nobara (current) and have installed Garuda. The driver installation is automatic and performance is better than on Win11 for me.
@Dark_Panth3r @Lampontheapp @Pirat_Nation Physical discs are what contain the license. Even if, for example, servers are shut down, if the game is installed, it just needs the disc in to authenticate. With this system, with servers down, digital games will be unplayable after 30 days.
@Pirat_Nation Guessing this is in response to console modding. Doesn't seem like it would be very hard for crack creators to redirect or remove this authentication. All I'm seeing is incredibly blatant anti-consumerism. Glad I abandoned the platform during the PS4's mid-life.
@Rudy_Ross1 @Lampontheapp @Pirat_Nation The license for physical games lives on the disc itself, whether it installs from the disc or is downloaded. It's why the game won't play unless the disc is in the console.
@yadspi@Alickaard@Pirat_Nation Fwiw, with this new DRM, at least you'll still have access to 1.0 Cyberpunk when the servers are inevitably shut down. People who buy the game digitally today will have nothing but a big ol' goose egg.
@JackTheAss_@Pirat_Nation We don't complain on PC because we don't have this bs going on lol. If Steam implemented this, you bet your ass we'd complain. I agree it's absurd Playstation players now pay full price for a long-term rental while other platforms offer unrestricted access to the same product.
@SimplyCorban @Pirat_Nation What game are you trying to play? Because I've bought multiple games since SW2 dropped and I played most of them without an internet connection. It's literally antithetical to the Switch's whole console/portable hybrid concept. It is very likely you won't have wifi on the go.
@hua445@TheFizzyMind@Pirat_Nation Under this system, you're no longer buying the game, you pay full price for a long-term rental of the game that lasts until the servers are shutdown.
@TheFizzyMind@wyndon9@Pirat_Nation Eventually, the servers WILL shut down. It's inevitable. This new system basically says you now are paying full price for a product you don't fully own. Not even having the game installed helps here. Once that inevitability occurs, your game is essentially taken from you.
@SimplyCorban @Pirat_Nation Never had to do this. I just used my Switch on my recent vacation flight with wifi off and had 0 issues. Maybe certain games have this, but absolutely not all.
@Effin_A_tweets@Pirat_Nation Wat? This has nothing to do with pirating. It has everything to do with actually fully owning a product you purchased. If games had this kind of DRM but were offered at a discounted price point, I'd actually be okay with it. But this at full price is ridiculous.
