A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it, and throw it in the hallway.

The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon.

Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon, At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it.

Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon. The teacher said to the students, "These balloons arelike happiness.

Lions Playoff Update:

Browns beating San Francisco is by far the most important game of the day in terms of Lions playoff chances. It would put SF at 8-5 with Titans-Colts-Bears-Seahawks to finish the season.

Still feels like SF will win tomorrow. Meaning they’d have to finish 1-3 most likely for Lions to catch them. SF & Seattle would very likely win tiebreakers over Detroit so they’ll have to finish with better records. I don’t see any way really SEA doesn’t win 11 games, meaning DET would have to win out to pass them. If Browns pull off the upset over SF then it would be realistic to think they could lose 2 of final 4 to Titans-Colts-Bears-Seahawks to finish 10-7.

The “best” 5 pathways for Detroit to make the playoffs seem to be:

1. Win out (unlikely but would 100% be in if they did)
2. Bears go 2-2 or worse over next 4 (GB, Browns, GB, SF). This would mean if DET gets to 10 wins before Week 18 they could pass CHI by sweeping them.
3. Finish with more wins than SF. Most likely scenario would be DET going 11-6 and SF going 10-7.
4. Green Bay implodes. Next 4 are against Bears, at Broncos, at Bears, Ravens before finishing with at Vikings. If they finished 1-4 Lions could surpass them by finishing 10-7. If they finished 2-3 Lions could surpass them by finishing 11-6.
5. Seattle implodes. They doing something like split with Falcons and Vikings. Then finish 1-3 against Colts, Rams, Panthers, 49ers to finish 10-7. Lions surpass them at 11-6.

The Detroit Lions organization is one that I have nothing but respect for. Ownership, Head Coach, General Manager, and players.

Fast forward to this week, the “Turning Point” episode that was voiced by me recently that covered the Chiefs/Lions game didn’t come across the way it should have. The intent is to collaboratively, as a group, document the events of game. Good and bad. There is NEVER an intent to do a “hit piece” on anyone or any team. That being said, I can see how the short clip that was posted could be taken as an attempt to cast the #Lions or Brian Branch in a calculated, unfavorable manner. I don’t want to be a part of that. I will be sure to make certain that anything that has my name attached to it will never again leave room for it to be interpreted that way in the future.
