@OonaghKelleher@kateowbridge@joanne_jobutts@Thinkingschool2 @HannayJeremy @Andrew_Truby@smithsmm I’d suggest that most middle leaders and teachers have a list as long as their arm of things that they need to do without being given another one! Especially as in the event of closure, they will probably be trying to juggle looking after their own family as well.
@debbiehepp 2/2 She replied by saying that continuing with phonics in key stage 2 when it wasn’t working was tantamount to abuse and not something ofsted would want to see. Any thoughts, @debbiehepp?
@debbiehepp 1/2 Had some training in reading deep dives this week from an ofsted inspector (nor working on behalf of ofsted at the time). She was asked about children in KS2 who phonics did not seem to be working for.
@TeacherToolkit It’s brilliant-and so his he! I remember, in my NQT year after doing a musical version of Jesus’ Christmas Party that a girl in my class told me he was her uncle. Turns out he was!
@timminchin@timminchin I’ve just watched it all in one day, on the recommendation of my dad. Absolutely brilliant! Is there a soundtrack-so many beautiful songs. Would love to get it for my dad for Christmas...
