She exposed Robert Kenyon’s vile rants: calling most abortions “vanity purposes”, mocking mums with “fat bellies pushing prams in their PJs”, and refusing to apologise for endorsing disgusting sexual comments about Carol Vorderman.

This is Reform’s rank hypocrisy - tough talk on women, zero respect. Don’t forget they welcomed a convicted woman-beater.

Reform MPs are weak, spineless, and stand for nothing but bluster.

Moscow is burning, and that's how it should be. The comments from Muscovites are particularly interesting. The most common ones are: “What is this?” and “Why us?” This is that uncomfortable moment when Muscovites come face to face with objective reality—and they don't like it.

The fact is simple: if your country is at war, you can die at any moment because that's what war is. Russians, and Muscovites in particular, spent a very long time not understanding this. The war was being fought in Ukraine, far away from them, and when they supported it, they were supporting the deaths of Ukrainians, not their own. Dying for the goals of the “special military operation” is not something Muscovites are prepared for.

Their first encounter with reality has been shocking, so now they stand in front of cameras asking in confusion: “Why are we being bombed?”

You're being bombed because you wanted this war, lived through it, and enjoyed the news from Ukraine and the videos of destroyed cities like Mariupol, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, and Pokrovsk.

But war has its own laws, and now what is happening to you is what you wished upon us.

After the spectacular fire show at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Putin received another loud slap in the face—this time in Moscow. Dozens of drones breaking through Moscow's air defenses are a sign of his inability to protect even his own capital.

I think that from today on, many fewer Muscovites will be cheering for the “special military operation.” People tend to start thinking when they get hit in the face.

Of course, not everyone learns the lesson. That's why there will likely be more strikes on Moscow and across the territory of this aggressive petrostate.

Thank God Ukraine has its Defense Forces, which provide far stronger security guarantees than any Trump ever could.

This “deal” he signed leaves Iran stronger and in control of the Strait, but does little to advance US interests. The “master deal maker” just made one of the worst deals in US history. So I’m seeing something different out of Trump since he left the G7 and signed this deal. It’s almost like he’s on this “What could I do?” tour.

He’s going to reporters, and when they ask about this really awful Iran deal, he’s basically saying, “There’s nothing I could do. What could I do?”

And then he talks about how, yeah, Iran has ballistic missiles, but everyone has ballistic missiles, so it’s unfair. What could I do?

It is the weirdest thing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trump this shaken by an outcome during his presidency. Usually, he just confidently lies. But that does not seem to be happening here.

I have read and reread the US-Iran draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) supposed to be signed on June 19.
It looks as if the Iranians formulated their most outlandish wishlist & Trump just approved it.
Presumably Trump, as a village fool, ignored the diplomacy (as usual) and capitulated on his 80th Birthday.
This MoU is a tragicomic result of an unjustified and meaningless war instigated by Trump.
The Iranian regime has survived & probably got worse. It can celebrate a total victory over the US.
As an added bonus, it has split the US from Israel and discredited Netanyahu.
There are two generally positive agreements, which are both a restoration of the status quo ante:
First, Iran and the US "declare an immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts". However, as in most points there are caveats to Iran's benefit. It includes "allies" and Lebanon, which means that the US prohibits Israel to bomb Lebanon and Hezbollah.
Second, both sides commit themselves to opening for full traffic through the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days.
Furthermore, Iran "reiterates that it will never produce nuclear weapons," as it did in the multilateral 2015 agreement with Obama.
For the rest, there are only US concessions to Iran:
Both countries undertake "to refrain from interfering in each other's internal affairs," that is, the US will not work for regime change in Iran.
The economic benefits the US offers Iran are extraordinary:
1. To ensure together with regional partners a development fund for Iran "of at least $300 billion."
2. To end "all types of sanctions currently facing" Iran.
3. The US Treasury "will issue waivers for exports of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products...and all related services..."
4. The US undertakes to make sure that all frozen Iranian funds "will be released and made fully available." This involves tens of billions of dollars.
The final agreement "will be approved through a binding resolution of the UN Security Council", which gives China and Russia a veto.
Nothing is stated about Iranian proxy forces abroad or ballistic missiles or even what will happen with the Iranian uranium.
Let us hope that this unfortunate war has ended, but Trump has reinforced the terrible Iranian regime at an enormous cost.
