Senate must ban assault weapons knowing that the gun makers gained one billion in revenue over the last ten years selling military assault style weapons to mostly young people and white nationalist groups and had no regrets. The Senate ban on assault weapons sunset 18 years ago.
If Congress fails to ban assault rifles, schools should not open in September. The Senate should reinstate the
Assault Weapons Ban (AWB) which they let sunset 18 years ago. Shame on them!
Tell the Senate to restore its earlier ban on assault rifles, to make schools safe or teachers' strike across the country in September. Speak softly and carry a big stick!
What we need now is for the Congress to act to pass H.R. For the People if we are to preserve our democracy. Call your legislators and demand they do so.
