#DCIM353b The Tech and Disruptive change class allowed me to learn how technology and society change with each other. I really liked reading about the difference between self-actualizing citizens and dutiful citizens. Thanks Professor @RUProfMcCormick and @RayCMe.
#DCIM353b I am writing a blog for my capstone class about internet of things devices. While writing the blog I think about how the devices (smart thermostats, lightbulbs, appliances, and things like that have disrupted the home and turned it into a smart home.
The idea that robots will take over most jobs is a real threat and something that needs to be discussed. Our economy and society might not be ready for the fact that robots will replace millions of jobs. https://t.co/neuXsZrC9a

#TXC18#DCIM353b I am a beginner when it comes to using twitter, but I would say that when trying to communicate with students from other schools you should try and stay general. Being general and not specific allows you to find common ground with other people.
#TXC18#DCIM353b I've gotten some great information from my fellow Rutgers students. It was interesting to see how other people tried different things in order to succeed throughout their college years.
#DCIM353b One prosumption story for me can be how I have created two different blogs about technology, where I write and explain different technologies and interesting stories about them.
@AtishShahDCIM I also used to make YouTube videos of my cousins and myself. Even though they were crudely edited and filmed it helped me learn how to create content.
#DCIM353b#TXC17 On a personal note, I am looking forward to moving into the technology sector of the work force. Considering that I will most likely be involved in IT, I think this Gif might be appropriate.
#DCIM353b#TXC17 On a personal note I love the Mets and Knicks, I am a die hard for sure. My personal brand revolves around those two teams, as well as the music I listen to or play on my guitars.
#DCIM353b I was made aware of the #metoo movement through twitter. Obviously I had heard about these kind of things happening but the movement really helped put things into perspective. It was definitely successful because of the amount of change it continues to cause.
#DCIM353b When I was younger I made YouTube videos with my cousins. The disruptive tech back then was YouTube, it allowed my family to upload videos quickly and freely online. Without YouTube hosting and making the process easy, we never would have created those videos
#TXC18#DCIM353b A big part of having success at Rutgers is trying to make friends with the right people. My friends help me feel motivated to work hard and balance that with having fun.
#TXC17 I chose this picture of College Ave campus because I have had so many classes around this statue, when I think about this college this is the area that comes to mind.
@HanaleeMay Big companies are also more likely to feel comfortable with their income to not feel a need to innovate as much, it's cheaper to sell something you've already perfected.
