James Spratt anchored a defense that ranked among the best in the WPIAL, allowing 9.5 points per game. The Indians posted five shutouts.
A two-year starter, Spratt moved from nose tackle to inside linebacker. He had back-to-back 20-plus tackles in the WPIAL final and PIAA semifinal games.
“James was a tackling machine,” Plack said. “Outstanding,” he added of the 4.0 student. “He’s really good and a great student

Another WPIAL history lesson:
Peterw Township's Nolan DiLucia passed for 246 yards last night and passed Pine-Richland's Ben DiNucci and Armstrong's Cadin Olsen to move into 8th place on WPIAL all-time list with 7,835 yards. Seven have passed for 8,000.
In potentially the steal of the century, Peters Township ATH Nick McCullough has committed to Carnegie Mellon.
McCullough was rated my #23 prospect in the WPIAL and turned down numerous FCS offers for a chance at a great education and to play with his brother again.
