In all the discussion about redistricting in Maryland, why do we ignore the history of the past 30 years? In the 1990s, Maryland had 4 R's and 4 D's in Congress. Today, that number is 7 D's and 1 R. Who was responsible for that jerrymandering result?
Ages of the Founding Fathers on July 4, 1776:
James Monroe, 18
Aaron Burr, 20
Alexander Hamilton, 21
James Madison, 25
Thomas Jefferson, 33
John Adams, 40
Age didn't matter. Education did. Classically educated founders built the greatest system of government in human history.
Here is what I want to say plainly, without apology, on America’s 250th birthday: The loudest critics of this country are almost always those who take it for granted. The progressive American who disparages his nation, who shows contempt for its history and disdain for its symbols, has purchased that performance with the safety and freedom won by generations before him. His critique is ingratitude born of ignorance—ignorance of what the world looks like without America, without its constitutional architecture, without its insistence that no man stands above the law.

I enjoyed my conversation with Dr. Matthew Spalding of @Hillsdale@HillsdaleInDC so much that we needed a second episode. Learn about the Founders' view of education here, and like and subscribe please: https://t.co/oF9bbAfnhM
there is no reason why Maryland schools shouldn't be teaching the same truth...grounded in abundant research and common sense, and utterly beneficial for students to understand.
Given the spread of communism, an ideology few understand, we’re excited to share Dr. Paul Kengor’s first lecture from The Dark Side of Marxism.
@DrPaulKengor traces the history of Marxism from the life and ideas of Karl Marx to the ideology’s far-reaching global consequences.
80K Christians killed in the last 6 years in Nigeria; a literal genocide. And where are the widespread protests on college campuses? https://t.co/AqxIz9ftAC
Despite the very misleading headline from the @baltimoresun here, @RepAndyHarrisMD is obviously correct in sponsoring this bill to empower states as the Founders envisioned: https://t.co/PZh728vRSX
Why are teens struggling?
It's not just the screens, argues @CRPakaluk. It's the lack of siblings.
Great @nytopinion:
"We hear constantly that Americans are more atomized, more polarized, more isolated than ever. Some say it’s the screens. Some say it’s social media. . .
The mothers I interviewed pointed to a different explanation. --> we have lost the primary institution where virtues are formed — the household in which children form one another." https://t.co/zYSlBN86A3
In a win for female sports teams, the Supreme Court has ruled that state laws in West Virginia and Idaho, which prohibit males from joining women teams, do not violate the Constitution or federal law.
Elizabeth Black has the details of the ruling:

It was an honor to address leaders from around the world at @ARC_Conference.
The children of the world desperately need an army of defenders. I pray the speech will help raise them up.
