The gov't in Taiwan has total sovereignty over the land it claims in the 1991 amendments. This isn't fucking hard.

@accidentalflyer ... because it's super common here, so not special or interesting. That sense of community is something I miss about life in TPE quite a bit. Everyone knew everyone. I have the same # of close friends here, but not many of them know each other, if at all. A lot less community.

@accidentalflyer Huh. When I lived in Taipei, I played hockey for years. Tight community, cause not many players, and we all had something in common that we did together 1-2x per week. So we'd hang out outside hockey too.
Now back in Canada... I play way more, but not much community because...

@BouchBombs People do not understand that 31 other teams are also trying to win the cup, and 12 of them are talented enough to do it every year. There's so much luck involved, but no one wants to think about that because then it all becomes meaningless.
